It seems like that i have got the hang of FSpassengers by now but i have one question. Is it possible ( and if it is then how do you do it ) to
create new pilots that assign them jobs ( eg. a passenger flight ) that they do themselves automatically ?

You can have more than one pilot, but you cannot get them to fly independently. You are the only person able to fly as each of the pilots. However,
if you have more than one aircraft you may be lucky enough to get fleet bonuses after each flight you make.

What exsactly is the point of 2 or more pilots? Just wondering, or is it because if you crash, you are not SOL?

Would be nice to have a FSP server version where all the planes could be shared among registered company pilots. The way things are now a company
manager can only assess some flight parameters and not the planes.

Sorry to say the FSP program is not server material as it relates to the flight, at present time, you are undertaking.
Coupling it would mean internet access at all times from a members side, which would require a rewrite and extention of the program as
well as running dedicated servers...
In the end you would be payinbg for use of the program as well as a monthly fee to support the servers. Now you buy the program for
an 'FS' life-time, and you can integrate it anywhere.
No matter where you fly, eityher online or offline, FSP is there, doing the same thing at the right time, no input needed from elsewhere....

I don't think you got the picture.
My idea is that FSP could send via internet a few more information than it does now. The same way it sends flight report, a few more information about
carier, flight income and aircraft conditions(maintenance, position, damages) could go along . So next time someone requests a plane to fly, FSP would
search the server DB so it could check were planes were, their conditions or even if they were available. It could be like an option that you could
create a VA with remote or local DB. No need of constant internet connection and dedicated server!
Of course it's not an easy task, but it's not the beast you pictured here!

It shouldn't be that hard at all...

It is basically almost like a VA and one would need only to publish somewhere the flight schedule (airports, aircrafts, routes, ...) and people would
need to be online for the 10 seconds needed to reserve the flight, then they can go offline, flight and report back the result at the end (other 10
seconds)

You could probably do that without modifying FSP if the users share a company with similar settings (in terms of airframes).

I know I tried myself to turn it into a server application in a test case on my own server but thus far it's a no-go withouyt a re-wrirte of the
program, and that is not Dans nor my intention on doing. FSP is written as a first person program, meaning you get to live through all it
has to offer you, offline as well as offline. It interacts with FS but was never intended to be an online program.

What about instead of doing some web based thing, can you do a non-web based local add-on to make fleet bonus function a little more
sophisticated. For example once you have a company that purchased some planes and has some pilots on the roster that you have
created by doing new pilot's first flight personally, you could set a schedule for both your owned aircraft and your pilots. Or if you want to
avoid micromanagement just set the number of hours pilots are expected to work and/or the type of business your company should be
seeking. Then the next time you activate FSP it will check how much time has elapsed since the last time FSP was on and perform a
instant spreadsheet calculation on what flights with what pilots have taken place in that time based on user supplied parameters and
some random things like economy, reputation etc. It would then generate a report on the operations and cash flow that has taken place
in the elapsed time. Then if the carreer mode was on you would be able to take any aircraft and/or role of any pilot, as long as it does not
exceed your personal Cx level that you have achieved. If career mode was not on, you can jump into any plane and take a role of any
pilot. The random factors such as company pilots' performance would be directly related to your flying skills based on the assumption
that someone who is a sloppy pilot, would also be sloppy at running the company as a ceo. This opens huge possibilities for scenarios
and decision making. For example if you have a bad pilot, that your company has spent time and money training, do you fire him or do
you assume his role on some flights he is assigned to and try to improve his reputation by flying well. If something like this was a
payware add-on I would buy it in a second, and all it would have to be is just a simple spreadsheet calculation that takes place only at the
moment FSP is started.
