FSP and flight time

When I used to use FSP on Windows XP it worked great but since I upgraded to Vista it always says I arrive too early. I made a flight today from DFW
to HNL since my family went there without me today. In FSP I entered 8 hrs 10 min. which was AA's actual time. I departed at 11:15AM (1616Z) and
arrived at 14:20 (0020Z) = 8hrs. 5 min. (pretty close) but the end of flight report says I arrived 7 hrs. 15 min. too early. When I used to use FSP
with XP, in the minireport the time used to count down from the time I entered in the startup page but now it just stays at what ever time I entered.
Sure would like to get this fixed cause it wreaks havoc on my pilot points!

Well, Vista certainly has it's problems. Maybe others who have Vista can chime in on this. I never switched over to Vista and NEVER will.

Well as an unfortunate Visata user I have not experienced this problem with FSP or FSPX as yet. Does it happen on every flight/every
aircraft type?

I've only used FSP with 4 planes: Default B737 & 747 and PMDG B737-800 & B747-400 but it always happens so I don't think it has anything to do with
the plane. So I blame it on Vista. Wish I had stuck with XP but I'm building a home cockpit with 3computers, 2 on Vista and 1 on XP and I can't
afford to buy 2 more operating systems. Does the time count down in the minireport on your system? I haven't upgraded FSP to FSX yet but if its
going to dothe same thing I might consider trying XPAX. Does anyone know if what the differences are in XPAX and FSPassengers are they pretty much
the same?

did you install vista without reinstalling FSp,

try backing you your database and reinstalling FSp,

i use vista without any problems, so thats the best help i can offer

I installed Vista Home Premium 64 bit on a new clean hard drive but I will try reinstalling FSP and see if that helps.

I understand FS has a bug with time which I noticed is corrected with an option in FSUIPC
All my flights, every chronometer in any aircraft panel reads correct time both local and zulu
and FSNavigator shows correct times. Only FSP appears to have problems logging the correct
elapsed time. The end of flight report shows correct local and zulu times for both departure and
arrival but flight and block times are incorrect, speed is often over 600 knots and fuel consumption
rate is incorrect (obviously it is too high).

*** So by my mathematics the block time should be 6 hrs 22 mins Additionally because of this time warp
effect, my average cruise speed is an incredible 682 kts despite cruising at M0.82 for the flight not exceeding
500 kts groundspeed and the fuel consumption per hr calculation is much too high even taking into account
climb burn. My point is that despite the fact even FSPassengers appears to log the correct block off and on
times (Zulu), the reported block time is incorrect. Any ideas? **** Thank you

Is this occurring with only that particular aircraft or with all the aircraft you fly using FSP?
