You can serve drinks as often as you'd like, however too many too quick, and the PAX will get drunk. They'll be very happy, but some of
them will be upset because others are too happy! Make sense? ![]()

Quote:They'll be very happy, but some of them will be upset because others are too happy!Since on vacation flights there are always some people who served themselves a few even before boarding, I guess everyone'd know all too well what you're talking about. I get irritated just thinking about it. ![]() ![]()

What if you're flying to a typical holiday destination? Would there be any passenger on board who would be disturbed by the fact that
people are getting too happy? Maybe that's a good suggestion for a new release...just as there are danger area's now, there could be "party-destinations", where passengers are getting unhappy when there are not enough drinks served ![]()

I can't abide being around drunks, maybe that's one reason I don't go on holiday. I don't drink and don't really understand why ppl can only
be happy when they are absolutely smashed. ![]() Flying for Landmark Airlines.

I love in return flights when the job is done to enjoy the situationt, the sight seeing with a good whisky. Not getting dead drunk, just this slight
euphoric feeling. But indeed one is OK, a second useless, a third inapropriate. A serious drink session is only good on firm ground ![]() Now, for my virtual passengers. everything depends on their mind status and flight time left. These last times, I flew around south emisphere wth srong winds and turbulences during cruise. The first meal is enough to bring their satisfaction at 100% up to 15-20 minuts after serving. When I see the satisfacion % decrease, depending on time left, if possible I start a movie which keep them 100% OK for 90 minutes I leave them qiet as long as they keep a 100% good mood. and wait until we are 30 to 45 minutes before begining of descent .The alccol effect is very good medecine about turbulence fear. then I serve the drinks. But if I see the mood going down before, I serve earlier. In fact I simply listen to them ![]() ![]()

For that euphoric feeling, there's something else: Morphine
![]() I'm not a big drinker either John, and when I do drink it's for celebration, socially. As long as it's done in moderation, it shouldn't normally present a problem either personally, socially, or in any other ways. |
