Certain songs cause CTD?

I am using FsPax X and just added some Christmas songs (I am very jolly of late lol) Anyways I downloaded them and converted them to .WAV Once I start
my fspass flight I selects the appropriate song and the game freezes for a few sec and then I experience total CTD. Does anyone know why this is?

I have tried restarting my computer again and again to no avail

you can try to lower the quality of the file and rename then to a simple name ,like 1.wav or a.wav .
I had trouble with my own music because the filenames were too long and also with quality settings (higher quality gives larger files , so
maybe the problem has also to do with that)

How to I lower the quality. The songs are high quality and originally were .MP3's.

use a converter (like on this website http://www.convertmp3towav.com/ ) and make sure the quality is low (mono 8khz for example) in the
converter (so it also sounds like the music is outside the cockpit)
