FSPassengersX Not Loading With FSX

Hi There,

Just purchased FSPX, however I am having difficulties loading the add-on. I have held off from posting as there have been a few posts
which have mentioned these issues before, but with no real resolution.

The issue is that FSPX installs as usual, please se log below, but when I enter FSX there is FSPassengers tab in the windows bar. I
have attempted running install as administrator also, but with no joy!

The reason I held off is that I wonder if it is an issue with Vista. FSUIPC will not install properly, casuing me not to connect FSX to Super
Flight Planner or AISmooth!

I am currently running FSX SP1 and Acceleration on Vista 32. Hopefully, this is just a issue where I have not got Vista correctley set up to
run FSX, but UAC is also disabled! All other add-on programmes, except Traffic X have been removed.

Greatful for some help, very confused and frustrated I can not run FSXP!

What error message are you getting? Or, do you get an error message when trying to access FsPX via the menu bar?

Hey Thanks for the response,

It really is becoming a bit of a brick wall.

There are no error messages as it appears that FSPX installs with no issues. When entering FSX there is no FSXP in the main tab, it is as if FSXP has not installed!

Here is what I have been doing,

1) Select install application FSXP and run as Admin

2) Message prompt indicates FSXP has installed correctly.

3) Run FSX as Admin, FSX loads up to title screen

4) Load a flight, when a flight is loaded there is no sign of FSXP being installed on system! ie no FSXP in the main tab at top of the screen.

I have tried several times to re-install with no avail, I have taken away all add-on programmes, I have even reinstalled FSX with out Acceleration and with SP1 and SP2, still no joy.

Is it a configuration issue with Vista? UAC is off and I am running as admin. Very very confused!

FSPX doesn't appear in the main menu of FSX; it only appears in the 'toolbar' style menu when in flight mode.

I am well aware that FSPX only appears in the toolbar menu accessed by the alt key but in my FSX it doesnt any suggestions?
