RE: making money... spoke hub style or random

From what I understand you make more money via a spoke in/out system because you get fleet bonuses when you return to an airport
you've already flown to.

Now what if you just randomly flew to some airport or made a bunch of hops and then flew back to home base or whatever granted this
probably makes you the least amount of money but could I still make money this way or is this a bad idea?

In Can be,

The more you fly in and out of an Airport the more PAX (and Cargo aswell I think) want to come aboard... hence more money...

But you can be very inconsistant if you have a good company reputation and still make good money
