crashed for an unknown reason?

after a 11.5 hr flight from KLAS to NFFN (Nadi in Fiji) over several days everything was comepletely nominal UNTIL i landed and had just
deployed spoilers when CRASH for no apparent reason (that i can see) arrggghhhhh. btw i was flying the pmdg 747-400 anyideas?

Thanks for the idea Poden i must have been a little groggy last night. I did a takeoff experiment this morning and found 2 things, 1. i did
not have my crash detection turned off. and 2. there must be something hidden about 1/3 of the way down rwy2

Hi William,

I think that there is something hidden on runway 2 at nadi. Do you have the addon scenery that is available as freeware. I have the same
problem as well and when you are also landing on Runway 6R at Los Angeles (KLAX) The same thing happens as well.
I do not know how to fix this problem but rest asured, it is not your fault. I think it might have to do with the afcad for those perticular
airports. They just need to be fixed slightly.

As for your second note. FsP overrides your personal settings as regards fs9 crash detection. Use your menu settings in FsP to
determin your failures and the like. In flight sim, if your setting for crash detection is "Ignore Crashes", you will not crash. Once you start
and start a flight inFsPassengers, crash detection is automatically turned on. Makes you have to practice flying properly.

At some airports, like KMEM, a radio tower might be positioned too close to the runway or taxiway. As in KMEM, a radio tower is
positioned so close to one of the taxiways that the 747-400's wing will hit it even if you have the aircraft on the taxiway centerline. It's
definitely a flaw in the scenery. I have seen this situation at several airports within FS9.

Joeflyer is right that's also an issue at mggt Aurora Intl, Guatemala. There is a VOR just besides the taxi way and you can hit it with almost any
passenger plane.
