WRONG PAX WEIGHT

When starting a FsP flight with my MD 11, the fuel weight is right ; one kilogram fuel is one kilogram fuel weight loaded to the aeroplane.
When "loading" the passengers however, something is completely wrong:

As an example: Number of first class passengers is 17 - gives totally 61 Kilogram
Number of businessclass passengers is 76 - gives totally 275 Kilogram
Number of economy class passengers is 171 - gives totally 620 Kilogram

Where are the wrong parameters located, and how can I fix this ?

What version of FsPassengers are you using ?
can you post the log.txt here ?
Do you use a custom passengers name list ?

Hi Dan,

I think I found the source of the failure. But first of all, - I use last version: 20050905

I tried to load the aircraft at WMKK (Kuala Lumpur-Sepang) in Malaysia ! I got an error message as follows:

"passenger name database>no matching zone found"

I then moved the aircraft to ENGM (Oslo-Gardermoen) and started the FsP flight there - no problem - weight OK:

first class passengers is 17 - gives totally 1235 Kilogram
businessclass passengers is 76 - gives totally 5948 Kilogram
economy class passengers is 171 - gives totally 12944 Kilogram

I then moved back to WMKK and tried to load FsP there Now the weight was like "ENGM"-weight and the passengers list was filled
with norwegian names.

Finally I reloaded FS9, started up with a FsP-flight at WMKK, now the problem was back with odd passenger weights and of course prior
to this I got the error message as described.

It seems you have to give us a better geographical cover regarding passenger names as this infect the payload system of FsP.

As regards the log.txt, I could not see any differences between the logs from one FsP startup to another, but you will find a copy of the last
unsecsessfull passenger loading in WMKK as follows:

When a zone is not found it revert to default "english name"
wich is the list "0" ... so it seem something is wrong with
it as weight are "calculated" from name also...
can you send me the file so I can have a look ? (it will be even better
if you can send the XLS)

After some days I got mail from Dan and he then asked me to send load manifest and log-txt. So I did end of June and I never heard from Dan since.

Some days ago now I have been sending him a question about how we are doing with this problem, but I do not get any answer.

Does anyone know where Dan is or how he is doing ?


I do not wish to be unreasonably persistent as I understand he gets a lot of mails, but it could be good to know if Dan is unavailable in
any way.
