Reformat and keeping information and VA page

I am planning on formatting, is there a way to keep my FSPassengers information without it being deleted? Will copying the FSpassengers folder and
backing that up help, then copy folder there and install FSP afterward. Just want to make sure i this will work before I try it, dont want to lose all
my flight information.

My second question is whether there is a free web page that allows the upload of the FSPassengers files to make a VA page. Although i dont intend on
using it for VA purposes, me and my friend are doing an ATW, and would like to upload our flights to one page for future reference. Thanks.

1st q - copy the database folder that is in the fspassenger folder - once formatted - reinstall (dont just copy the full fsp folder back as it will
give authorisation errors) install a new copy, then copy over the database folder.

2nd, site that gives you sql databases for free doubt any would, but maybe they do - i use i-websolutions.com for my sites - hosting
for 99p (gbp) per month

I get this error after i upload the information to the site.

"Not connected
to localhost server
Database: alebar8_FsP

mySql error:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)"
