FSP on the whole is working on my set up but I have a couple of frustrating problems.

First the program does not remember its settings from session to session.
In particular, I set the currency units to GBP and elect to have no failures. The next time I start the Sim, units are back to dollars and
failures to 5%. I have tried deleting the config.cfg file and letting FSP create another, it makes no difference, I set up the program as I want
it in one session, the next it is back to the default.

Secondly the mini report keeps changing its font and size. One session it is the correct size in the top left corner of the screen, the next it
is about 4 times bigger and obstructive.

Anyone have the same problems? Anyone any ideas.
Great program, but seems to have a lot of bugs.

never heard about it....

can you post one log.txt that you find on "FsPassengers" directory ?

Are you SURE !!!!! that when you change option you click on "Save" in the setup dialog ?

Hi
Log File is below. You will see that currency is in dollars, dollars have never ever been selected. When this flight ended and I looked at
Company Manager the currency was in euros - no selection or change had been made.
Yes, I am absolutely certain. I select FSPassengers Setup->General Setup then when I modify each section I "Save Changes", hear the
bell and then select "Next" to go to the next section.

This is not a once in a while thing it happens EVERY day.

Should I do a re-install? If so is there any way of saving my info?

do you exit normally Fs2004 ?

the config file is saved on disk when you exit Fs2004...

The log don't show the last line also, I think it's the problem here,
you should have:

it seem either your FS9 is not unloading the DLL either you quit by other way or Fs9 crash on exit ?

Always Exit with Ctrl-Break.
Think I posted that log during a flight
Running Radar Contact and Airliner Pilot alongside FSP. These give no problems,

Hi Dan
Log for my last flight complete with hard landing below.
On this occasion I shut down FS via the menu and not with Ctrl-Break as I normally do.
This time the settings remained the same so this may be the problem.
I will exit via the menu for future flights and see how it goes.

it seem to me that CTL+BREAK is more used for "crash-exit"
so it seem it's the problem, also it's very bad because in this
case the DLL is never unloaded by Fs2004 (as all other DLL as it's Fs2004 that is responsible of unloading the DLL)
and you may end with memory not freed.

better exit by menu or Fs2004 key for exit... (you can set that in keyboard setup of Fs2004)
