Flew leg 78 of World Tour (screenies)

Well I'm flying the World Tour offline and I started at KBTR leg 74 because it was closest to my companies hub. I am flying the entire
world tour with the king air though, different from the rules in place for the folks involved in it for points. I am using the default king air 350
along with default scenery.

Anyway leg 78 is from Halifax to St. John's Newfoundland and here's the screenshots.

Sitting on the ramp during pre-departure. It was a little before 1700L and it was quite foggy but no precipitation.



Cleared for takeoff and lined up. Wow you can barely see.


On final at St. Johns, the weather was deteriorating on approach and finally set in as I wsa about 20 miles out.



Touched down safely.

One question (OT though)... How do you guys fly your virtual cockpits? I was trying to fly it too but ended up switching back to 2d panel... Thx. David.

I leave the virtual cockpit zoom at 1.0 and i move my viewpoint around with the following 4 commands


Ctrl+enter
Ctrl+backspace
Shift+enter
Shift+backspace


Those 4 (i always forget which) move your pilots viewpoint up and down and forward and back, so to t/o or land I move my viewpoint
forward just to the point where the top of the dash is in the bottom of the view for perspective so that I can see out the windshield
unobstructed.

The viewpoint in the screenshots is moved back to appear more realistic even though it's a royal bear to fly from that viewpoint.

I forgot to add this as it's important, at least to me. I have dual monitors running so I have undocked windows for my 2D panel, GPS,
radios, and warning panels undocked and moved to my other monitor so that I can still see all of my guages while in virtual cockpit... It
sucks trying to view guages, maintain perspective, and fly all at the same time in virtual cockpit with one monitor.

Yeah, viewpoint is just as important as zoom level for the VC. Nice pics!

I fly only with VC - and I highly recommend TrackIR - makes it so easy to look around, including keeping your eye on the runway while turning final.

Hmmm., I'll have a look at how it works and the price for that. I just hope my PC will be able to handle it
