How to respond to emergency's

Hiya

Anyone got a brief explanation of exactly how to respond to a FSP emergency?

For example, if you get a bird strike, would you simply declare it and land asap or declare and continue flying?
Engine fire, again declare and land, or declare, attempt to put the fire out and continue?

Anyone got a walk through on responding to the emergency's themselves, what to do and how to fix?

Any such emergency you much declare it and land. However, one flight I had a drastic fuel leak in my left tank, lost all the fuel in that tank but
continued to my destination without declaring and did not lose any point. There's no sense in declaring an emergency that will not affect the outcome
of the flight or put the passengers and yourself in danger.

I don't scream like a girl, I do continue to fly the plane, but was just wondering about FSP standard protocol on this, emergency and land
asap, or emergency, continue flying lol

Naaa, it's the usual ragging we drunken WT pilots usually give each other. Sorry to get off the subject a bit

About the emergency protocol...simply put, it's your decision on what to do after the aircraft experiences a problem...whether serious or
not. Unlike Diseal, I would not want to continue a flight if the aircraft experiences a fuel leak. After all, fuel leaks can lead to much more
serious problems....potentially fatal at that. Any time I see a fuel leak, I land at the nearest airport. There is only one time I experienced a
very serious situation at altitude(window cracked and ruptured), descended to 11,000 ft and continued on to destination, but I could have
landed at a nearby airport suitable for the B747. In real life, I wouldn't have taken that chance

I normally declare and land unless it is possible to continue, such as hole in fuselage.
Rule #2:
Always declare.
