Hello,

Started a new company on FSP 2 weeks ago! Done quite afew flights, but noticed I am not making much money.

I found that the only aircarft I use (737-800) has a quite low passenger capacity. We have only made £3.973.290 using the 738 on all
flights we have done. We have spent £830.843 on maintenance too! The aircraft's selling price is £23.610.382, and I have bagged
£6.815.813, so if i sold the 738 I would have £30.426.195 to spend on a higher capacity aircraft. I was looking at the 767, but costs too
much, the A32* series are just the same capacity, so what aircraft should I lean towards?

i dont think you can get an aircraft with high capacity in 30 m. try to make your ticket price low and the food quality bad(low coast airline) and
when u get around 60 or 70 m try to buy an a used a310 then change ur company to a normal fares and u will be getting alot of money then try to buy
an airbus not Boeing because they are more fuel efficient .the b747 and b777 are quite efficient but the a340 and a330 are more efficient

I think you can afford an A321, I prefer it over the 767. It has that nice "Airbus feel"

My main aircraft at the moment while I am building up my company is a 737-400.

I have found that doing some short hops i.e. KSEA to KSFO, just before lunch, brings fairly good income.

My company is set to normal, just before lunch means passengers will eat aswell as drink.

I start serving food and drink as soon as the seatbelt sign is off and sometimes get in another round of drinks and sandwiches before descent.

I try to get upto between 25,000 and 30,000 to add to fuel econ.

Plus, I know for programming and realities sake FSP cannot be saved and I am not in a position to spend the duration of a transatlantic flight sat
infront of my PC.

I also find that a night flight or a flight that starts at dusk is less of a revenue taker as most passengers are sleeping, even though for me
personally, I love flying at night with the Ultimate Terrain turned on.

Hope this helps but each to their own, I found my ideal settings through trail and error.
