I have a question... I saw at a friends place that when he is planning his flight, he gets to enter his departure time and planned arrival time.
I have to enter the hours and minutes im going to fly... I want to change this to the departure and arrival time mode... How can i do that?

Doesn't sound like FSP. In FSP, you just enter the flight time. Even in the earlier versions, I don't think you ever entered a departure time.

It surely was FSP, he had a square where to instead of entering the flighttime he entered his arrival time...
that sounds much more realistic i think...

Yes the outdated version you entered the arrival time, but i think it was altered due to problems with time zones.
You friend also does not benefit from the updates in the newer version.

Ok i see. that makes sense... then i should be happy with having to enter my flight time in hours and minutes then

Is there any trick on Fs / FSP to know about the time you will need or do we have to find it out the common way?

I do it like this: i take a route that i know the time it takes to fly... and then i use a calculator and figure out how long it will take to flyg the
length of the new route... then i add like 10-15 minutes for longer climb time and longer descent time... (if you fly at a higher Flight level" |
