Distance Vs. Profit

Hi FSP forum,

love this program, but not used it much.

I own 1 737 in my 'fleet', and generally do short distance flights (< 1 hour).
I currently make about 400k per flight.

Now, i'm just wondering ... if i started doing 3-4 hour flights, would my income be reflected in the miles clocked up?

Yes Graham, I'm pretty sure it would.

Now, if you were to do one of the round-the-bay Concorde flights like I did once - arriving back at the departure airport even after about 2
hrs in the air - it'll cost you an absolute fortune!

If you notice in the end of the flight financial reports, the passenger income is directly related to the absolute distance between the starting point
and ending point. Long flights are MUCH more profitable because you're alreayd in the air and the only cost you ahve is cruise fuel, which is nothing
compared to climb fuel...

I dont really see any point flying without FSP to be quite honest.
It turns FS2004 into something playable
