Maintenance

Has anyone suggested having the amount of money and time spent on maintaining (preventative maintenance, not "fixing") aircraft in
your fleet to be the deciding factor in how often failure will occur?

I think this is already a part of FSP.

Currently, to my understanding, the failures are set at a "fixed" amount, either in the FSP menu or in the setup of an airline... correct me if
I'm wrong.

The reliability of a plane is directly related to how well maintained it is Spend money on it after every flight and failures will occur less. The
percentage maintanance needed is added to the chance a failure might happen (= reliability)
