Update to your passengers

I like to bring in an idea. I like to give my passengers a update of the flightsituation for example:

Lady's and gentlemen its rush hour so we expect a little delay

Or for going arround

Lady's and gentlemen whe must going arround because...

Maybe a good idea or maybe not.. I hope to hear your opinion soon

with the go around option, it could add a few minutes to your ETA (but thinking about it, if u were going to be late, u could cheat by
pressing the go around to add a few minutes)

I agree with you but it is not good (like my wife :P) when you arrive to late the passengers are angry, but when you arrive 1 hours earlyer it
is also not good for the passengers.

But in real plane the co-pilot or the captain give more information over the flight. Also he gives information about the destination. I think
that information about the destination is not possible, or you make a screen and type what your want (in english) to update your
passengers.

Hello,
I made a flight yesterday and set arrival time to 45Min. During approach I got the order 'go around' and therefore,
our flight was delayed about 40 minutes. Result was a penalty of 200 points, because passengers where angry about delay.
Is there any possibility to 'inform' my passengers about the expected delay?

You cannot inform your pax about that but anyhow, even if you would be able to inform them, they would still not be happy about the delay because for
example they will miss now a connecting flight

In the real world crew would inform you if there is a little delay... (but yes passengers will not be happy...)

Unfortunately there is now 'service on board' (Baron 58 ) to serve a drink for my frustrated passengers

I think that would be a good idea i was on a real flight a couple of years ago and we were delayed because of ATC so the captain
appologised and offered a free drink to all passengers. Think it's a good idea so at least they are aware of the situation.

I don't how much detail is feasible (nor desired by the author) and the work required to revise the software to account for "keeping the
passengers informed". I do know that some passengers will allow for certain delays if they are kept informed. The most severe penalty
should be assessed when passengers are NOT kept informed of delays and problems. I would also welcome additional crew/pax
intertaction.
