Redletter Day Flight...Kinda Things

Hi,

I live in th U.K, and I am 15, 16 on March 25th.

Anyone remember redletter day?

I want to go on a flight in a cessna for example for my birthday, in which in the fligh you can at the pilots discreation do flight things, lol eg
turning stalling! I want a proper one not one where you fly upside down loop the loop all that stuff, could anyone help, now im not made
out of money but still, would it be possible to rent a plane and a PPL pilot for a day, and around how much would

1 the PPL pilot and plane cost
2 what would a normal flight in a cessna cost

it wouldnt be a ppl pilot, it would be a commercial pilot

I went on a Virgin red letter day in May for my birthday and it was really cool.

Try this link... I must admit I was terrified at first because the Cessna 152 was like being in a mini at 1500 ft. The pilot was awesome, he
let me pull back the yoke to take off and I did the trim, throttle and steering.

Shame they dont let you land, I will say, I did it in a 747-400 for british airways.....on fs2004 :D..thanks for the link having a look now

looked and looks fantastic, what did u do eactly while in flight?

We started by looking around the plane together (pre-check stuff) then photos of me looking like I owned the plane

Then he talked through the whole request for takeoff/taxiing to the runway (I steered with the pedals), he told me we were cleared for
takeoff and I had to push the throttle in and he told me to pull back on the yoke to take off. after that I got to fly over Brighton pier and the
beach (In May it was awesome!). Then over Lewis/Brighton University and back round to Shoreham airport. The only part he took over on
was the landing, which I was glad about!

One thing I noticed was how shaky and rattley the plane was during taxi, as soon as we were in the air she felt really solid, almost as if
she was saying, "Ah thanks, this is were I belong, in the air"

Oooohhhhhhhh makes me soooo excitied...I want to land though lol...which one did you choose, the more expensive one, because I'm

I did the cheaper one. I think the explorer one I could have landed at Isle of Wight and had a coffee and flown back.

My instructor was a commercial airline pilot who was off for the week and routinely flies 737s. It was like flying next to a God!

Cool, try and work out where you want to fly too, usually I believe they ask you where you'd like to fly over. I wasn't so lucky though, I
wanted to fly over our house but wasn't allowed because I live too close to EGKK

Yeah, I would think so, far enough from Stansted Airport... Hey the A12 would look alot more interesting from a couple thousand feet too!
