What the heck is wrong here?

I setup up with a default B734 to see how well Active Camera works. By the way, with the third mouse button and mousewheel, it's pretty
nuts! Great! Now I can't fly without the VC! I also now understand why everyone complains about the default FS aircraft - the VC is pitiful!
Can't read anything.

Anyway, I had damage off and just took off from KSEA, whipped around and came back in - reciprocal heading. I touched down pretty
hard and - uh, did I lose the right gear here or is it a scenery error? I was able to apply reverse thrust and brake to a stop without any
problem, though, the wing was buried in the runway while doing so!

This is a first for me. I usually fly with the damage model and and the "stress causes damage" setting on so, maybe it wouldn't have happened that way - just crash/reset.

Looks like you made the landing hard on the right main gear,huh? That'll sure do the trick! It's too bad we can't see sparks, smoke, fire
and parts falling behind the aircraft

But, I have to ask the question, if the wings get within close proximity of a building or another aircraft, a collision WILL be registered,
right? Then why did the wing here (and the engines!) sink into the ground? I would think that being a contact point, the engines and
wingtips would remain above ground at the point where they meet> Maybe not off in the grass somewhere but on a solid runway object?

Oh well, time for a new plane anyway.

By the way, I had the VC detail all the way down! (Another Duh!) It improved much after cranking it up but, still no where near the detail of
those payware planes.

Yes, the VC in the default aircraft, well, SUCK. , with the exception of the default Lear45...it's not bad at all.
By the way, I did have a situation like the one depicted in your screen shot. I was landing the Captain Sim B727-200 and as the main gear
touched the runway, the left side of the airplane sunk downward during roll out. I couldn't understand what the heck was going on
because I knew the landing wasn't even close to being a hard landing. The end of flight report didn't recognize any failures of any sort, so
I was perplexed at this. Even when I did the post flight mx, it was the usual small amount to pay for post flight repairs.

THAT'S why I'm wondering if it's a scenery issue; if the terrain dips under the runway texture.

By the way, I did it again with a US A319 and this time the nose gear broke off! This time there was no doubt - got the green "crash" bar
and the reset followed. (DOH!)
