How many FPS do you get?

I have noticed that my computer only gets around 10 FPS in some planes, about 25 in the Super 80, and only about 8 in the PMDG
planes. I have noticed people with slower pc's that get better FPS than me. Is something wrong with my pc. I run all the settings on high.

I have:
1 gig of RAM
3.2 GHZ processor
not sure about the video card

I think I have a 128mb video card!!!!! OMG, I never knew. Thanks so much Will. It says, Approx. Total Memory: 128.0MB. But I don't have
one installed. I guess it came with the pc when I bought it. But then how come I'm getting such sucky frame rates? I've seen people with
worse pc's that run the settings on high and they get something like 45 fps.

I'm getting the same normally with 32mb... Usually, Nvidia is well regarded as better than internal chips. I take it as a blessing.

Yeah,on mine, it said internal, right above where it told me that the Approx. Mem was 128MB. Is there anything I could do to make the
Frames go higher. Sometimes the frames are good while I'm taking off and en route, but when I get to the landing part, it goes to
something like 4FPS.

i usually get 20-30 en route and 10-15 on landing (depending on the airport/traffic).

I have everything maxed though. I can't stand it any lower, it just pains me to see it lol

It depends on so many things, like weather, how many AI planes are around, using VC or not. Besides that, some settings you don't need to run on high,
like for example "terrain mesh complexity", better move that slider back to around 80-85%, you will hardly see the difference but your pc will
And, 15 fsp without stutters looks better than 40 fps with

29.8 FPS mine gets usually. It is limited at 30 but it struggles to get the last odd 0.2FPS out. Its frame rate goes really low with AI traffic so I keep this on 15%. It annoys me any way. The computer has a 3GHz P4 and ATi Radeon 9800 Pro.

CPU: Intel 3.0 Ghz
RAM: 1024MB PC3200 Corsair Dual Channel
HD: WD 160GB SATA 7200
Video: Realtek NVidia 6600 256MB PCIx
Windows XP Pro OS2
Res: 1024x768x32 at 75 hz (no tweaking)

FS2004 Settings
AA in FS2004 enabled (I get a drop of 8-10 FPS if I put it on the card and yes, I have the latest drivers)
All sliders to max
100% traffic
Low sound quality

NO ADDONS
FPS reads at 45+ constant but down to 30 or so in KLAX and other high-def scenery areas

With addons
-ASV textures MipMap 128 bits
-Ultimate Traffic (Spring Summer 2005 schedule, all fligths on + GA traffic
-Ultimate Terrain USA (all enhancements enabled)
-Flight Environment
-FSUIPC

FPS reads at 25-30 (locked) with drop down to 15-18 in heavy traffic areas, high-def scenery areas or heavy weather.

As long as MFS has been in existence this has been asked many times and all it realy boils down to is this. There are to many things that
can affect frame rates, amount of clouds, complexity of the aeroplane, scenery, etc. etc. You should forget about frame rates and go by
how smooth MFS is performing. As an example I have my mine capped at 18 FPS and it is as smooth as a nut, got it just the way I want it
and I'm happy. Of course the main factor is a fast and powerful CPU. MFS is very CPU intensive.
