[Solved] Landing Moony with turbulence: what's the trick?

Hi all,

I try to land the Moony Bravo with turbulence, but I can't get it done right. Always blowing tires...
I now land at about 75-80 knots with full flaps as stated in the checklist.
Can anyone tell me the trick to land save without blowing tires? Add power and airspeed perhaps?
Or is landing in turbulence without blowing the tires not possible?
How is this done in the real world?

P.S. I fly FSX de Luxe SP2 with realistic settings on high.

What is your vertical speed?
Can you post otherwise the flight report so we can take a look at it.

Hi Recon,

Thanks for your reply! (and accidentally I'm Dutch too)

I fly an ILS approach (rwy 25 at EGCD) and follow the glideslope exactly.
However at about 1000 feet suddenly turbulence came in.
So dancing above the runway I had to try to land.
A few times I did land safely (so the report says) but with a blown tire, so penalty points.
After 5 times trying at least I was lucky!

I just was wondering if there were tips or tricks landing in this sort of situations.

Well there are a view ways of doing it.
Of course safety allways comes first.
So when you encounter a lot of turbulence at short final make for example a go-around if you not able to get in time the a/c under control.
Still I'd like to know your vertical speed.
