FSX Freezing with FSPax

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with FSPassengers and FSX. When I had the demo version installed, no matter where I took off from, whether I used FSPax or not,
FSX would sometimes freeze randomly during my flight. The screen goes black and my monitor turns off, and I can hear about half a second of sound
looping over and over.

Hoping it was just a problem with the demo, I have purchased the full version. I got through a whole flight yesterday, but today, on my second FSPax
flight, it happened again.

So to reiterate:

At a seemingly random time during a flight, FSX will freeze. The screen goes black, the monitor turns off, and I can hear the sound looping. The
only way out it to reset the PC.

Does anyone have any clues as to what the problem may be? I'm using Windows XP.

Hmmm....

Are you running a multicore computer by any chance?
If that is the case you may want to check your affinity to CPU settings
Some programs, for some reason, always revert back to a single CPU

Yes it's a dual core. Uninstalling FSPax stops the freezing. So unless it's FSPax changing the CPU settings, this couldn't be the problem, could it?

Hi, this is my first post =)

1st of all, allow me to tell my admiration of this great add-on..

I have a similar problem, I've downloaded the demo version, and it always crash my FSX (SP2 on a Windows XP computer).
Is it because of my crappy computer?

Hey, Nevermind my last message, I've found the solution from another post..
I didn't use the mini display, and everything works fine.. Now, it's time to buy this awesome software! ^_^

Yo, you may want to readjust the graphics card AA...it may cause some issues if it's set too high. Anyway, glad you got it solved.
