Hi simmers!

Is it possible to chang a pilots rating in career mode. I want to adjust my fs passenger pilot to the experience i have in flight sim. for
example i want my pilot to be c5 or c6 or somethimg laike that. is ist possible to change that somewhere in config files?

No, you have to work your way up. You could always create a company and pilot without the career mode.

thats a pitty! would be a nice feature for an update! i think there are a lot of oilpot with a lot of flying eyperience who wont start at "bottom".
with 100 or 200 hours of experience, it would be a good thing to start in an appropriate rank!

FsP remain a game, either you start career and you should
make your way either you start without career.

FsP allow already a lot of company paremeters to be changed.

I understand your point of view, but there are also pilots, who worked hard on there carreer and maybe a technical problem accurres (pc
crash, ...). think about: you start a bush flying career and after 160 hours of flying your hard drive crashes! i think this would be very
dissapointing. it is not for cheating. if you want to cheat, you can choose the non-career mode with lots of money. it would be for pilots
choosing a rang approproiate to their flight skills or if you had techiqual problems.

dont misunderstand me, i dont want to critizes you. this add on is superb! i just want to give feedback and discuss!

Even though Dan already posted his (quite definite) view on the topic: I think it would be good if you could at least start with a pilot who can fly
small airliner turboprops (Fokker50 and the like). If for the player it's not so much about simulating a company but the career of a pilot, having to
start as a bush pilot feels quite awkward.

And yes, it's a game. Not a contest or a business project. So how each player wants to invest his time into this game should (within limits) be up to
her/him.

Edit: just to make this clearer, I'm not talking about the option to start at any rank, but one or two predefined ones (like 1. C0, 2. first rank for multiengine, 3. first rank for turboprop airliners).

I agree that it would be nice to be able to start at a specific rank , after all it will be an OPTION and an option is always good , either use it
or don't
