FSP and my new latop!? HELP!

Hey all,

I've had my new laptop for a while now, but havn't installed FS9 on it until, well... today! The idea was to make my old PC to be
solely used for FS9 - however as it become slower and slower I finally opted to make the switch over today.

When installing FSP, everything is working fine... HOWEVER when I want to unlock it... and press 'Alt' and select 'Purchase and Unluck
Demo' my screen goes black... I know the unlock box is actually there because when I move my mouse over it I see the pointer change to
the 'hand', and as I press the windows key, the box appears for a split second before it switches over to my desktop view.


What do I do!?

Check if your graphics drivers need updating?

Well I have a brand-new laptop - with a brand new Nvidia GeForce 8600 graphics card - so would this need updating!?

I dont have a lot of knowledge about computers, graphic cards and all that... sorry

Since you have the 8600, you might try the drivers from Nov. 07. I had tried the newest drivers but they caused some serious issues. So, I
had to search Nvidia's archives for the previous drivers. I believe they are 163.75 or something like that.

I tried searching for the Nov. 07 drivers for the 8600GTS but can't find them now. I did save them on my other hard drive and can possibly
zip it up and send it to you. Maybe the version I have will solve the issues you have, but it's not guranteed.

That would be great! Just as long as it isn't too much of a burden for you!?

I'm despreate to get my FSP up and running properly as it should hehe
