FsP dont work with Vista help please

Hi everyone.

I have FS9 installed with FsPassengers on my windows Vista machine.

When im starting FsP the screen just get black untill i press ESC and exit the flight. Is there any solution to this? Does anyone have the same
problem?

Hmm... I don't know if this is related or not, but to run just about any addon with FS9 under Vista, you have to start FS9 under admin mode (right
click on the icon).

Okay, let's go to plan b. Are you using the Flight Sim Update from Microsoft? If so, are you using any other updates?

Also what graphics card are you using? What drivers?

And thirdly, what build? RTM or an earlier build?

And Jason, glad to hear it, I thought that I would be flamed to death I personally want Gore/Obama or Gore/Edwards, but I don't think that Gore will run, so I want Edwards/Obama (Edwards has committed to running).

Yes i have the update from Microsoft. (I have also tried without it).

I have a ATI Radeon Club3D X800XL card. I dont think that this is the problem.

Im not shure what build I have. How can I tell?

Is there anyone who have made FsP work with Vista?

I used FsP for a while on Vista with no probs.

Press the Windows key and R. Type 'winver' and press enter. Post a screenshot here if you can.
How did you get Vista (I'm not asking for myself, as I have RC2 and hope to get RTM soon, but we need to know because that may be the issue)?

The version is 6.0 (build 6000)

I got it from my school via msdn Academic.

Okay, then, you are on the final, non-pre-release version (RTM) of Vista. I haven't used Vista final yet, so I really can't help you (I've only used
beta 2, 5536, rc1, 5728, and rc2). However, there is a moderator around here (JayKae) who is an MSDN member, probably runs Vista final on a computer
with FS, and might be able to help you.

Business version is kinda stripped. I didnt either have this problem on ultimate (rc2) but the RTM version of business is stripped for all kinds
of codecs (only mpeg files can be played if you dont install codecs manually) and no games are installed in the installation.

But I still dont see why this dont work. when I press the windosbutton and go back to the desktop I can see that the fspassengers window is there
in a second but in the game the screen just got all black but nothing has crashed. So Im not sure who is the wolf here: Vista because it is the
business version or FsPassengers because it is running on the business version. Or it might be that the problem is something else but I doubt it.

Edit: hehe I think that i have forgotten to tell that im running the business edition =)

Problem solved

It was the anit aliasign that was the problem. I turned it off in fs (dont ask my why I had it on) thanks for any help =)
