Up and Down Drafts

I am flying right now and I noticed up and down drafts. How does this impact your score with respect to holding assigned flight altitude.

You don't have to hold your assigned flight altitude in FsP... So it won't have any impact... But you maybe have a hard landing ahead...
Maybe your Pax won't like it...

What weather generation program are you using? I don't think the default FS weather models up/downdrafts.

Brad, the newest version of ASV from hifisim fully simulates updrafts and downdrafts as well as Wake Turbulence. The first time that plane gets
thrown up or down you almost feel your stomach bounce...

Yes I have ASV, and it does simulate Up and down Drafts.

all that is fine as long as it don't generate high G... be warned about ASV setting
otherwise you may end with a few passengers floating around the cabin and FsP
will not like that.

Also be careful that the FS autopilots really can't cope with them and will quite happily stall the aircraft, unless you do something about it
quickly!

I got caught by the "throwing the passengers around" bug a couple of times before I learned to stay clear of mountains. -800 points, that cost me.
Think I'll put another one of these in for good measure.
