a mix between what kind of engines you have (SEP, SET Jet), how many engines you have and what the wieght of the aircraft is, and how much weight the
aircraft can take off (MTOW). fuel capacity I belive is caculated.

Hm ok but i think a junkers should be cheaper then a DC-3, because the DC-3 has a better performance.
Any Idear how to fix this?

take away MTOW, that would decrease the price then put it back to normal, other than that no way to fix it.

So you mean I just should decrease the MTOW then buy the airplan, and set it back to normal!? So also the price would be the same as bevor.
That's hard cheating ![]() Why can't FSP get the more infos about the performance out of the a/c.cfg so it could see that the junkers is not as good as the dc-3? Post Edited ( 11-26-05 22:03 )

Although generally the aircraft prices seem pretty good, 3 million for a DC-3 is rather a lot. Prices at aircraft resellers are usually around
200'000$-500'000$, depending on maintenance and refittings. For 3 million, you should get a completely overhauled DC-3 with modern avionics, turbine engines and perhaps even a glass cockpit and well, then it wouldn't be a DC-3 anymore, would it? Allard. ![]()

And 3,8 million for a Junkers Ju-52 is, let me think: CRAZY

I have no idea what a Ju-52 costs, but it would'nt surprise me if it actually costs more than a dc- 3. There's alot more dc-3's around. Regards, David

hmmm, I found a DC-3 (MAAM R4D6 actually) that was well used and with a price of around $595,000, and needed some work.
Sometimes you can find a bargain, sometimes you find a rip-off, but the cheap ones with a lot of hours for any aircraft are the ones to have fun withdue to a possible increase in failures ![]() If the aircraft listed that you want are too expensive, pass on purchasing until the next time you turn on the sim, then check prices again. It reminds me of used cars. Always a changing inventory at your FsP Airplane lot

Althought lighter, The J-52 has 3 engines, giving more moving parts, so IMHO it's logical it cost more...
