inflight report gone mad?

Uhm... Ja. FMC says I've got more than 75k lbs of feul left estimated on landing.... This is the PMDG 744.

It seems you parked or rolled near a fuel station. after starting the FsPflight.

When you get near these fuel stations your tank are automatically filled up to the neck. thus it mess up the FsP fuel monititoring simple :

If your tank can hold 20 000 lbs

you start a flight with 50% of your total capacity.
5 min later during taxi, you get near a fuel station.
you are now with 100% of your tank filled.
Fsp assume that your consumption is -10 000 in 5 minutes => -120 000 per hour
As you have now 20 000 lbs and you use - 120 000 per hour your estimated time left is - 10 minutes

The inflight report is not "mad", just logic but... mindless

Weird is that i never ever experienced this auto refueling. I have no idea what triggers it. On the avsim forum i've found a little thread about
how to disable it, need some editting etc...

It is indeed quite a procedure

Hi,

Use ExcBuilder (available here):

1. Go into slew mode (Y key).
2. Go into Top view (Ctrl-S)
3. Press the Spacebar to align your nose to North.
4. Use the arrow keys (numlock off) to move yourself to the upper left of the fuel station, just a bit aways from the station. Press the num
pad 5 key to stop moving.
5. Click the FSC buttons on the upper left in ExcBuilder
6. Move yourself to the lower right of the fuel station.
7. Click the FSC buttons on the lower right in ExcBuilder
8. Select Trigger Objects in the ExcBuilder check boxes.
9. Click Create XML Code button.
10. Click the Generate and Save button.
11. Save it with a logical name (x_mygf_fuel, for example)
12. Move the resulting BGL file into an active scenery folder (FS2004/Addon Scenery/Scenery, for example).
13. Restart FS

May be for now I will keep steering away from these ..... of pumps...
