Map Help File

Hi

The main help file says there is a Map Help file in the ui/maps folder. This file is missing - any chance we can get it. I'd like to take a go at
making a map as there is no "zoom" for the area I regulary fly.

From what aera you would like to have a map. I've made three maps of different area around the world.
Maybe I could do it for you?

If you want to share, that would be great; though I would like to learn how to make my own. Could you post a tutorial? Where do you get your maps from?

The areas I'm interested in is:

1. British Columbia
2. Western Canada
3. Canada

@Pagir: Yes I did it allready but it seems that it need some time that it will be available on the web page.

@Lightrail: I've found my maps on http://maps.google.com/
1. Just zoom to the wanted area and copy it to a painting programm.
2. The file-format has to be 635x292 and JPG.
3. Define for two easy points on your map the coordinates Lat and Lon. At good page for readout the coordinates:
http://uk2.multimap.com/
4. from that two points calculate the distance in pixel of you map.

After that may you could send me the coordinates and pixels I will show you what you have to insert in the CFG-Files.
