I'm not sure how to play the game.

Hey Guys.

Im not sure how to play this game/real aviation !

I have set up my carrier and bought a plane. No problem.

Before flight it asks me for a Area Code, But wait! Did the game not create the flight plan for me?

I was looking for a guide on YouTube, and i found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYJeoftZwiE

But it seems like i still dont get it.

The biggest problem is: How do i know where to fly from and to? And will it not create the flight plan for me?

Hello Emil,

You mean ICAO identifier? How long have you been in flight simulation? And, do you have the basic understanding of aviation?
The FsP software comes with documentation that explains the entire concept of the program. Please take a good look at it. Plus, you can do an
extensive search on the forums to get as much information as possible. There is a wealth of information waiting for you

Yes i mean ICAO identifier. :-)

I have been playing FSX for quite a long time now yes :-)

But no, im not sure i know the basic of aviation, thats what i hoped FSP could help me with

The game does create a flight plan but FSPax can't read your active flight plan. The icao destination section is for more bonus points and is not vital for the
flights. All you have to do is put in the icao code for you destination airport and it will log it so that you can get more bonus points for you flight at the end. I
recommend you YouTube for other people playing FSPax as that is where I first found out and learned about FSPax. I will b able to link you to one shortly.

The software comes with excellent documentation that covers just about everything. Well worth the read.

When you play FSPassengers there will be no flights "handed" to you.

You simply decide yourself where you want to go, what plane to use (provided you meet the rank requirement and have purchased it for your company) and just go!

I usually load up the airplane first, then go to World->Map and check out the surrounding area. Then I pick an airport to fly to, zoom in and write down the ICAO number.

Then I go to Flight Planner and set up the route so it is all pre-loaded. Then when I start the FSPassenger flight I set the destination the same as in my Flight Planner.

Just keep in mind that you get negative bonus points if your flight is too short, or the duration is too short.

If you want to do a Tour you can set up the Flight Planner for this too. Just set a random destination, then add waypoints and make the last waypoint before the destination
be the airport you started from. This way you can use the autopilot and set it to NAV so it follows your GPS flight plan.

My favourite flights so far is "lake hopping" with a Piper Pacer seaplan in Alaska.

(sidenote: really wish there were more water runways all over the world and not just in Alaska)

There are freeware addons that add water airports. The one I use is part of the Virtual Airline I am in which adds water airports in the maldivies with stunning
quality. It comes along in the service pack updater which requires you to login to access. Let me know if you would like a link!

The way I would put it would be more like "I agree with Joe there, the software...". It makes it sound like your reading all the other posts my way
