An afterthought after the Steam update issues...

I knew I loved FSPassengers, but when it stopped working after the FSX update on steam I fully realized how much this addon actually contributes towards my
enjoyment of FSX.

I did some flights two days ago and it really felt... well... like I didn't really care too much. I ended up trying to take off and land at 05S which is a dirt strip with my Dash-8
from Majestic. Didn't go so well... but that's the kind of silly stuff I end up doing when take-off, flying and landing has no consequences. I did put it up on youtube though

Yesterday though with FSP up and running again I took out my brand new (well, new to my Company, but not so very new as a plane itself) PBY-6A Catalina (from
Aersoft) and flew from 05S to 6WA2 to do a water landing. While on the approach I was super worried we'd clip some trees, that I'd drift off to the sides or simply glide
across water and onto land on the other side.

The whole reason I was worried and stressed was because the whole flight would have been in vain, progress lost, passengers angry (or dead), huge repair bill or
even scrapped airplane and a metric tonne of negative points being smeared in my face! So you do everything you can to land safely! Even if it means going around
once, or even twice.

The difference in how I think and feel when I fly with FSPassengers versus, well, just flying... is like night and day.

Seeing comments flare up both here and on Steam forums though it seems many feel the same way about FSX and FSPassengers.

I guess what I am getting at is... FSPassengers is essential for my enjoyment in FSX... and a huge thanks to Dan for keeping it up to date so we can continue enjoying
this, perhaps in a way simple, but yet tremendously enjoyable addon!

FSPassengers is actually the only reason I play FSX, or....I love flying and I love planes, but flying an empty airplane for 3 - 6 hours a trip, FSPassengers does so the flying actually mean something, and after I bought FSPassengers for Steam earlier this year, I've finally (after playing Flight Simulator since 1999), took myself the time to actually learn how to land an airplane (I landet before too...but that was on the ultra-unrealistic mode where I actually could crash into the ground, and still nothing would happen), and I also used to use time-Acceleration, but I stopped with that as soon as I bought FSP, much more fun to fly passengers all over Europe or America, earn money, get points and be promoted :D

And especially the emergency-part, I really loved that...a couple of days ago, I had just bought myself PMDG 737 NGX (I used to fly Aerosoft Airbus Extended X), but anyways, after learning the plane, I was gonna test what I've learned on a short 40-minute flight from Bergen, Norway to Oslo, Norway.....on my first passenger-flight with PMDG...whoops, bird strike and engine-failure....and then the Autopilot stopped working, but to my relief, I actually took a little roundtrip over the airport, and finally made it to the runway, the passengers was happy, I was happy....until I saw the bill for the engine-damage, anyhow, the PMDG is extremely easy to manually land and steer, so I think I'm gonna use that plane with FSP from now on :p
FSP truly is the best FSX-addon ever made.

fsp brings the reason of fsx to our computers. I personally like doing career mode but never got anywhere
worthwhile in it, now I'm doing a round the globe expedition consisting of 268 flights that will eventually rack in the cash like it was nothing. Best add on I
know for fsx so far
