Strategy ideas?

What is your favorite strategy for a company. Buy many small planes before working your way up? Or start small and immediately work your way up?

That depends entirely on the scenario that your company is based on. I am curious about your choice of the Robinson as it is not very cost effective
for a new company not to mention that there are very few simmers who can fly a ceiling fan as well as myself.

I occasionally enjoy flying them. I enjoy the challenge though I've became fairly skilled with rotorcraft. I also purchased it for the up in fleet
income.

First, don't fly the R44 to make money. It won't carry enough, far enough, to be profitable. It is a guaranteed money loser.
Next, since you didn't say what the goal of your company was I will just shoot the basics at you. Fly regular, long routes. Do NOT waste your time
making extra pilots. If you need to do a go-around just do it and the arrival time be screwed. Make all your services manual as opposed to
automatic. Don't fly the plane as close to Vne as possible in case the wind shifts on you. If you are flying FSPX make your landing below
-400 ft / min. After you fly out of the thunderstorm give your cattle a drink, they are scared and mooing for booze.

Sorry, my strategy is work my way up to larger aircraft. I'm a fan of the concorde so my personal goal is to buy one. Should I sell the R44 or
take advantage of the fleet income? Also as I'm flying props at the moment I'm no where near Vne as I'm more focused on fuel efficiency. I am
a real world pilot so I run real world weather and flight plan a route as necessary around conditions that I would rather not fly into. I personally
didn't know you could set the services to automatic so I've been doing it manually anyways. I currently have the service quality set to 95%. Is
that about right?

Open the passengers dropdown menu, click on "select active company", Scroll to the bottom when it comes up and tell us what it says
your goal is. It should say some thing like National Company or International company. It will also let us know if Pilot Rank is on.

It doesn't show a goal on that menu. However it say's career mode is off meaning the pilot can fly any aircraft. (This is all new to me). If I am
correct that is what you are looking for?

When you made your company were you not given several options for the type of company you were forming such as the examples above? You should have
been given information such as a set amount of starting money, the limits (if any) on your pilot and company. The most important thing a final goal
to mark success. I'm not sure how you made a company without any parameters. Without reading the -10 you can't know what you can and can't do.

Ah, I see what you mean now. I made the company with no end game. No final goal so I could keep going. In the new airline set up there is
an option. I can't remember the specifics

I agree. Though I enjoy helicopters, IRL I'm sticking to fixed wings.
