Aborted take off and loss of reputation

I had an aborted take off and the flight summary showed that I gained +500 points, which is good, but showed a loss of 7% points on my
reputation. What's that about? The abort was legit, I had a engine that was underpowered. Sometimes FSP gets you coming and going.

Well, put yourself in the shoes of a passenger in this case. You expect a flight to get you from a to b, now you are on the runway and the
takeoff gets aborted. I would be slightly disappointed to say the least (given I would not know the how's and when's) and think that the airline
has either bad maintenance or isn't safe. It is not fair but then...who ever said life is fair XD

I'd say the aborted takeoff is the safest thing you can do when you see such a problem.. would people be happier if pilot would take off with bad
engine? You could say bad maintenance but than every airline has bad maintenance since I don't know any with perfect score, no failures, no aborted
T/O, no problems at all. So you can't win on this one. And you have to pay for a new engine too.

your destination.
Then the captain says: we have to abort t/o due to a technical failure.
How do you feel?

Like the lousy airline should have bought an aircraft from Boeing instead fo Airbus

Right, but don't expect ordinary people inside planes to know that...I always have a great time listening to the nonsense some people talk about
flying when sitting in a real plane....I remember a flight in an A320 where everyone who boarded the plane via the front entrance was nervouse because the engine blades where klicking whlie moving due to wind. Every second passenger talked to the crew "hey, your engines are sounding unhealthy" and crew was getting bugged by always explaning "this is normal, the blades are movable and they have to sound this way!"

On a humorous note:

A passenger boards a plane for a transatlantic flight and, as the plane is taxiing he notices that one of the engines is not working (don't ask me
how) The aircraft continues moving along the taxiway while the passenger worries that the pilot is going to attempt the take off with one engine
inoperative but, shortly, the pilot's voice over the PA announces that they are returning to the terminal because an engine failed.

After about an hour's wait, they board the aircraft again and this time our brave passenger is sitting in an aisle seat. After take off he explains to
one of the flight attendants his worry when he thought they were going to take off with an inoperable engine.
"So you guys changed the aircraft?" he asks.
"No, we changed pilots," the attendant answers, "the other guy was too chicken to take off on three engines."
