I have to now give up using this program. I have a lot of 3rd party scenery, and it has happened now 6 or 7 times
that I have encountered a
building crash (even though I am nowhere near the buildings). I am now broke, my planes are all damaged, and
my reputation is on the
floor. It is obviously a problem with the the add-on scenery, rather than FS Passengers, but I don't know how to
stop this. It's so frustrating
after doing a perfect flight to be told you have crashed (when you haven't). :-(

Welcome to your new, first post Unfortunately your first post is a bad one considering the issue, but one that is not so uncommon. With
that being said, why would you give up? Create a new company and go fly.

If you know the problem is with addon scenery, have you tried disabling crashes in the MoreOptions .cfg file in the FsP folder? Also, have
you disabled crash detection in FS9 or FSX? I've had this before, too, with addon scenery, but there are ways around it as I pointed out.

At worse you can disable FsX collision and disable also FsP "DisableForceCollideDetection"

Thank you for the welcome! I don't really want to create a new company, as part of the enjoyment of Fspassengers is to build your
reputation, earn money, and look where you have flown. Creating a new company every 2 or 3 weeks isn't going to do anything for my pilot
experience points either. Crash detection is turned off in FS9.

As stated above, you need to disable it in the fsp 'more options' file.

Even if it is turned off in fs9, fsp forces it on.

I think Joe was meaning, start a new company with the crash disabled, as then you won't need to start one every couple of weeks.

Starting a new company looks bad at face value if you don't learn leasons from what went wrong in the old company. Learn from your

You should be able to create a new company but not a new pilot. Simply transfer the old one (unless he is dead) to the new company so you will keep
the experience points.

Thank you for this tip (also Dan Steph). I didn't know these options existed. I have now followed the instructions and will go fly again!
