As I am new with FSPassengerX this is the first time that I have had an failure, let me tell you about it.
i was about to leave Mallorca to go to Casablanca in an Baron 58 with the glass cockpit, I took off and climbed for about 5 minutes with a lot of water under
me to pass on the flight and not many options for emergency landings. But allready after 5 minutes the failure happened soo it was easy to decide to go
back to the takeoff airport.
The failure was 100% electrical failure, and I could not see the artificial horison/speed/altitude as I went around. it was horrible, the instruments flickerred on
for 10th of an second now and then without giving me a chance to see anything really.
Visually I located the airport to land at and I used flaps and lowerred the speed to land - BIG MISTAKE! With hindsight I can see that I should have made an
hot and fast landing, making sure to absolutely not have too low speed. But as it were, I tried to estimate the speed looking at my throttle lever and make
an smooth landing, stalling over the runway and smacking down nose first. Pilot killed and 3 passengers also.
FSPassengers were not at all impressed by my actions and claimed that the failure was not that seríous to cause an crash, I did not record the flight. My
guess is that only a few manages to do it correct and land safely, but maybe it is correct of FSPassengers to be that hard. Great fun and excitement for
me with an bad ending, thanks to this software, but now I cannot fly without chewing my nails all the time beeing on my toes about failures...
EDIT* I think I landed with tailwind, I forgot to go around for headwind, also.
