Damn you Dan!

Well I wanted to do a flight from Boston to Paris so I loaded up my Delta 767-300ER, connected to VATSIM and entered in the route in the
FMC and well, you Know...Flew. Anyway about 120NM out of Paris I started my decent, at about 50NM out I started my approach via the
DPEsomethingsomethingsomething STAR for ILSDME 27R so I decided to set flaps to 5, and guess what. Yep. Captian the flaps are
stuck so I of couse declared a emergency, and I set autobrakes to MAX, the first attempt I went aroung but the 2nd attemp I touched down,
now here is my mistake I should of taken the longer 27L not R and I should of gone around again the 2nd time but I was too tired and I
ended up over running the runway.

So I just wanted to say thanks alot Dan for making my flight more fun and enjoyable, your a real jerk making programs that actully test
your skills and can actully make normal flights.



But serioulsy the flight was awsome because of the failure even though it did not end up great.

Ah you really made me laugh.

I felt exacty the same way the first time I didn't got three green lights on final with the front wheel stuck. It was something like:
"CURSE YOU, DAN!!" ... "AWESOME!!!".

It ended in a "successful" belly landing. No one died and I got about 1000 points.

Now I can say after hours of fight that when I press the G key I always cross my fingers expecting a problem... but no, hasn't happened again.

I recently made a company where I set my failure setting to 100%, so whenever I wanna have some 'fun' flying with something drastically
going wrong, or wanna practice my emergency landing skills or whatever I take anyplane I want and fly with it!! Good fun :D

When I first got this program, I forgot to set the malfunction to 0 and I was flying the Level D 767 0ut of KMIA to TNCM when I encountered a bird
strike and I didn't notice it except for the loss of oil pressure on one engine, so I declared an emergency and landed back in KMIA.

I love the failures coming at random times. The three that I have had in heavies have always caught me by suprise nothing like that
moment of shear terror after a 11 1/2 hour flight

I had my first serious failure today: humanitarian mission from nairobi(kenya) to mogadishu(somalia) in a c-17. Start flight, cargo and passengers
loaded, clearance from tower, push back engine start-up fine but I notice weird values from no4 but I decide to taxi anyway thinking that the
situation will go away by the time I reach the runway... Arrival at the runway, t/o clearance given by tower. T/O roll, rotation, lift off. pull back
the throttle levers to avoid exceeding the 250 knot limit, then the s$%^ hit the fan, no4 flame-out, hard bank to the right in nose-high attitude and
stall... I fully reduced the throttle off the remaining engines and dived to recover from the stall to no avail... 2000ft later:CRASH> all
passenger and crew dead. And me particularly pissed. When I think about it should have just cut off no1 and tried to get out of that situation with
no2 and no3. But I couldn't recover from the stall... Anyone know why? I stalled at 160knot and even though my speed increased when I pushed the yoke
the stall warning didn't go away.

I didn't set the autopilot. Actually the flight control were responding to my input: i could change my pitch and bank angle easilby but I was still
falling like a rock .

Yesterday got an engine fire in my A320... Unfortunately landing the plane with one engine was more difficult than expected so I crashed :S
