BIG BIG, PROBLEM...........

No fellow pilots , I am not shouting.......2 nights ago I was HACKED from half way around the world and all control was taking away from
me to my dell. 47 viruses were found and the sob even took away my control panel. ([Thanks alot norten internet security for catching
that[/I am in the process of reformatting my computer from top to bottom and saving all my flights and flight info so when I get up and
flying again I just need to pull them off a disc. MY son put panda software protection on it and the heck with norton internet security
because he hacked right through norton. I will keep checking back with all of you through my wife"s computer in the meantime.

8o sorry to hear that , who could be the idiot that did such a thing. I have Avast Antivirus and Windows Defender installed in my computer and I
haven´t had any problems so far. Well just a couple of troyans but Avast kicked it out

I had all sorts of issues with my expensive Norton protection program. I finally got fed up with it and found Avast. I haven't had a murmur
since. It updates in seconds and doesn't kick me back out to my desktop every five minutes or so like Norton seemed to. Avast is good
stuff!

I think it was mainly bad luck or a really good hacker.
I have Norton Antivirus 2008 and Windows Defender running on vista and until now I've had no mayor issues, just a couple of false alerts...

As of a couple days ago all is fine now, I am running xp and my brainiac son just put in panda 2008 on here, its ten times more efficient
than norton was, I don't think I will get hacked again. If he tries it again I can nail down his ip address right away and then I've got him
dead to right...............I just made c11 with my 737's . take care all..........carl
