Dear All

I just bought this newly PMDG 747 so i can fly it with FsP. But now almost everytime I started a new flight; load the passengers, cargo and fuel; then
I start to pushback to taxi my 747 suddenly had a tail strike. The nose went up then when I stopped the pushback the nose went down and then I CRASHED!!

I really dont understand why this happend. My CG is within tollerance. Then after it crashed the flight reset so I tried to strat the flight (again)
but it happenend AGAIN.....

Could someone has any idea about this.

Any help will be appreciated

Its a bug within FS9. Did you switch to Spot or Tower view when on the ground? If you did, dont switch views on the ground or the aircraft
will crash.

Well, I did switch to Spot view before I pushback and during the pushback. But the first time I had this tailstrike I did not switch to any view then
I stopped the pushback and then crashed.

After it crashed no one died tough.

Which airport and gate was it?

This usually happens if the Parking Brake is on.

I started at Changi International (WSSS) I dont quite remember the gate anymore. However, I tried with any airport and has the same result. Is this
bug or something that i dont know yet.

Are you sure you have the aircraft within CG?? Sounds like to me it's a tail heavy situation. Happened to me when I first started using the
747.

Not really. The PB is ignored while you are being pushed back, but soon as the push back stops then the PB is back on, which locks
your wheels up.

Alright, I didnt know about that. But in reality what will happend then is an aircraft is pushedback with PB on? Will it have a tail strike then?
Cause I am flying with A340, B777 and B737 PMDG but none of those aircraft had a tail strike while pushback with PB on.

If it moves at all, it will just burn the brakes out, and the pushback tug. :P

With the 'PMDG-747-400' the parking brake, if set on while pushing back, holds the aircraft in place. The nose will slowly raise until you
stop the pushback, which, once occuring, gravity pulls the nose back down and crashes the aircraft.

If you do not stop the pushback, the tail will hit-- and you will still crash. The moral is to not use the PB in the PMDG744
