Hi all! i just got back from a vacation that included quite a bit of flying, so I thought I would share some details. I flew from Seoul Incheon to
Tokyo Narita on a JAL 747-400, then from Narita to London Heathrow on a BA 747-400. A week later, my fiancee (now my wife!) flew to Vegas on a Virgin
747-400 (a trend me thinks!) to get married. Returned to Gatwick on the same type. Unfortunately some of the pics I wanted to share with you were on a
digital camera that went missing on the return flight to Gatwick! I easily had a few hundred pics on there, some great aircraft shots from McCarran
and Gatwick as well as Seoul and Tokyo! My wife bought me a flight lesson in the UK at Norwich Intl Airport, in a C-150. 120 pound for an hour lesson
wasn't bad. I got to taxi the aircraft out to the runway, and I had control of the aircraft from just after to takeoff til about 200 feet off the
ground. Let me tell you, lining up for landing in a slight crosswind is no easy task! It felt really free being up there in control of a plane. The
weather wasn't the best and the little plane got bounced around a lot, but it was awesome! I was surprised how nimble the plane was and for only
having a 100hp engine, it scooted around just fine. We climbed out at about 80kt and cruised around 100. Got to see the eastern English coast and some
really pretty sites. After getting married, was the highlight of my vacation!
