hey guys,
Im looking for a good piper aircraft for fs2004 and I saw Carenados Dakota and Archer II. They both look amazing but im not sure which
one to get. Right now Im leaning towards the Dakota but not 100%. I know that the Dakota and Archer II are very similar aircraft, but that
why it makes it so hard to choose Smile

Hey dude... you can't go wrong with either one. I had the Dakota on my previous rig and haven't installed it yet on my new one. The aircraft
actually came with the Extreme Landscapes package I bought a couple of years ago. It's a nicely detailed aircraft. The VC is outstanding!

Yeah, the Vc in the 182Q is also flawless. But I can only buy one Hunappy

Tell you what...I suggest you write down the aircraft names you want to choose from on individual pieces of paper. Fold them neatly, place
them in a bowl. Have someone mix them around in the bowl then place your hand in the bowl. Firmly grasp one of the pieces of paper,
unfold it and viola! There's your next purchase Smile

Don't feel bad...most peeps are busy...unlike me...I only have a paper to work on for my Master's degree and a full-time job w/ traveling, so
I can understand why I have the time to respond to other posts Big Grin

haha... And my "sources" said the Carenado Dakota, and I have it installed already. But how lucky am I, theres no payload model! Hunappy

I'm sure you can use the Piper Archer payload model since they are closely related. I don't know how to adjust it to be more in line with
the Dakota, but there are folks within the FsP community who can do this for you or suggest how to do it.

Carenado Dakota is not bad, but it is an older product and it shows (at least in quality of VC in my opinion) - newer Carenado planes are
definitly much nicer, more polished and more features. I bought nearly all Carenado aircraft (and made payload models for most of
them), but Archer II is one of few planes I don't have.. when looking for Archer a while ago, I ended up with Archer III by Dreamfleet instead
because RealityXP on board and quality VC. Dreamfleet also has brand new Dakota out which is very tempting.

Anyway, do you have any screenshots of Carenado Archer II?
