Payload Mod

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to FS Pass so apologies in advance if this has been asked before. I am flying a Pilatus PC12 (freeware),
wonderful aeroplane. I downloaded a Pilatus payload model and placed it into the correct folder in FS Pass. But the model was designed
around the Flight One payware Pilatus. Can I default this to my freeware Pilatus by editing the cfg of my freeware aircraft and how do I do
this? Thanks in advance.

Im sure all you would have to do is edit the ini file a little,to more match the name of the
freeware version

Just make sure you always make a back up of the original aircraft.cfg file (more inline for payware planes since you can DL freeware
ones as much as you want)

In general you should not touch the JPG name, unlike some other config file
the jpg is not loaded when it's name match the ini file but it's included in the ini
file and set by the payload editor...

mhhh I wonder if this above is clear ?
OK let me rephrase that : Copy and rename any INI as you want but DON'T touch JPG name... voila
(or change the assigned JPG using the payload editor)

Chip:

You just need to rename your ini file so it match with the aircraft name...
say you buy a "PC12 by three miles high club" aircraft you can for example
rename the ini "PC12.ini"

if it's called "PC--12 by three miles high club" rename the ini "PC--12.ini"

A good idea is to make a copy of your existing PC12 ini file and rename the copy...

Thanks guys for all the information. Much wiser than I was before.

Skydiver: really looking forward to your creation! I have flown many aircraft but never felt in so much control as with the Pilatus PC 12 it is
very forgiving but still demands a lot of respect.
