apparently its similar to FSP, but doesnt come close the functionality of FSP, and get this, its $30. Maybe Id buy it for the planes, MAYBE!!, but not
for their program. I dont think it lets you use other planes either.

I like the fact that the Diamond TwinStar and the Safire jet have pretty realistic looking Garmin G1000 glass cockpits, but other than that, I'll have
to stick with what I've got for now.

If you like the Cirrus you'd do well to look at Eaglesofts version. That has almost all the bells & whistles of the real plane, including the
parachute, the full on GPS system and glass cockpit, built in TCAS etc.

There were complaints about very low FPS. Supposedly even made the plane unflyable:

Actually, it seems pretty good from the outside. Obviously, you could use that program and FsP in tandem (much like Airliner Pilot). What I
would say about it is that it seems to offer more rigid airline management then FsP does. You have to fly specific planes and specific
routes... So what you gain in rigidity, you loose in features and in flexibility.

To me, the greatest advantage of FsP is that you can use it with almost any aircraft you'd like, anywhere you'd like and at any time you'd
like. We have some people that are using it with blimps, some that are using it simply to haul cargo, others that fly in the 1930-1940 and
most of us who fly which ever plane we want. We can take a small charter company and build it into a successful international carrier or
simply run a scenic tour company.

I guess it's a matter of taste but to me, FsP is a better fit for my needs.

Same here. I tried Airline Pilot, but didn't buy it. I bought FSP after 2 flights with the demo.

The flexibility you have with FSP is for me one of it's great strengths, together with it's ease of use. Install and away you go without any
great learning curve to climb.

I started a little airline in economic and career mode and set off to fly around the world in 2-3 hour hops, going where the fancy takes me
and however many passengers want to come along for the ride. Buying new aircraft along the way as rank and funds allow.

I just flew into my first war zone in Indonesia and got shot at. One more flight out of there and I'll be able to buy a C130, then I'm going
back in with a tank in the back to teach them a lesson.

Gotta go for the flexibility too. I don't fly airliners. Almost all bush flying for me so only FSP fits my requirements.

Got to agree with Phil, FSP wins hands down, how many other programs let you do full-on warzone approaches just to avoid being shot
at? Yet offer enough flexibility to fly any plane anywhere.

It matters not if you want to haul sightseers in a Cessna, Execs in a bizjet, or a 747 full of holidaymakers to some far of destination, FSP
can handle all of that, and cargo besides.

It's an Avidyne Entegra/EX5000 glass cockpit not Garmin G1000.

I wonder how it compares with the Eaglesoft version with regards to functionality because I noticed it's got the terrain map display on the
MFD which the Eaglesoft version doesn't at the moment.
