Preview Of FS 2006 (FS 10)

Exactly! I didn't upgrade FS9 until the first of this year! I wanted to make sure everything was good and ready for this version of the sim.
I'd have to wait probably at least 3-6 months after the next sim is released to get it... gotta let everything get all good and compatible first!

That name sounds more "extreme", and "next generation". I'm sure Microsoft will use "FSX".... always trying to sound hip!

Thought about something else too....chances are since FS9 taxes a lot of computer systems, FS10 (FSX sounds too chic' for my tastes)
will probably ground most except the best to a halt.

FSX.... I don't know about that. It seems like it would be called that, it's the 10th, so why not take advantage of that and make the
name one character shorter!

FSX sounds like some new Fox sports channel or something:

I agree it sounds too "new age", but who knows? Perhaps they'll throw a suprise our way.

The really weird part about this whole FSX conversation, particularly my spin on it, is that I got home and Adelphia had added new digital
channels to my service. One of them was an extreme sports network by Fox. I had a message on my cable box that said something
like, "Like extreme sports? Tune into channel 228 for Fox Sports whatever whatever (can't remember the name)"

Definetly ironic! Something just recently changed with my TV too (Dish Network). Seems like there are additional channels and a few
new features. No extreme sports channel though

I have Extreme Sports, I've always had it though... I think Bell Canada ExpressVu's name for it is XTRM for short.... anyone with
ExpressVu check in the channel 900's.

FSX..... Like I said I can definatly see it being called that, I mean all the other FS's have been just the number, I'm sure Microsoft will make
the name a little less boring (I actually like FS10 as a name, but hey, it's Microsoft lol).

I'd be fine with FS10 or FS2006. I really don't care at all, as long as the sim is good!
