Fs x a scketchy children toy...

While seeing all FsX demo avaible, I felt disappointed...
The aircrafts still to much scketchy in comparition to the avaible addons for fs2004 as Wilcos and FellThere airplanes.
On other hand, Mr. Bill Gate$ do'nt say a word about what will be necessary to run this "fsx" in its maximum configuration.
Micro$oft says that is a first class flight, but most, probably all of us will go in the third class simulation rate.
What will happens to my Senior Captain situation and all my FsPassengers files?
The warp Fs2004 works pretty well with the help of some good addons.
FsPassengers gives a serious and realistic atmosphere to flight simulation and will be sad to loose this program.
My PC configuration is a Pentium D 3.4 Ghz, Intel 945 GTP,2.048MB DDR 533, 2 x HD 80GB / SATA 2 Samsung, floppy 1.44MB, RADEON
ATI X1900XTX 512MB AGP PCI Express crossfire... and I still have problems with microsoft bugs in the warp FS 2004...
I hope this fsx become at least a better plataform for greater addons as FsPassengers as some others, which gives more realistc
settings to the magic of fly.

Short roundup what FS-X will support /require : For all features (including SLI) directX 10 needs to be supportet (comment: DirectX 10 is
atm not supported by ANY graphics adaptor)
Up to 2 GB of memory is supported (comment:hmmmm...they say the code is optimized for up to 3 GB but FS-X still supports only 2 ????)
Dual core is supported (really <VBG>)

After speaking to several software developers that already have a (more or less final) of FS-X it's a major shift away from CPU limitations
to GPU limitations and also moving slightly away from the simulation type to the game area (comment: Does MS really believe they can
put fs-x into the game sector roflmao). To really unleash the best (FS-X) I suppose we will have to wait for the first Dx10 capapble
graphics cards.....and NO......your cards running Dx9.0 will NOT be upgradable.

The demo is just that - a demo. You don't get the full-resolution textures, many features are missing, most of the aircraft were not finished at the
time of demo release, etc etc.

And besides, since when have Microsoft ever released a version of FS with aircraft as realistic as those provided by the likes of feelThere, PSS,
PMDG, etc ?

WAIT. You're going to upgrade to FSX anyway, albeit after upgrading your PC (like I'm in the process of doing). The demo runs very nicely on my
Wife's Toshiba Qosmio laptop (Pentium 4 M, 2.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM, GeForce Go 6600), with ALL the detail sliders at max, so it doesn't have huge hardware
requirements. And stock FSX looks way better than stock FS9.

Like I said, just wait.

And whats the problem of paying the upgrade fee for FsP, the same way you bought if for Fs2004 you can buy it for FsX.
