The Basic 737-800

Why Can't I fly longer then around 3 hours with the basic 737 I will explain, I Flew from Dublin to Teneriffa South , that is around 1500NM and I
did make the landing but passangers wasnt happy it was a hard and fast landing due to I had 3% of fuel when the wheels thuched the
runway and around 1% when done taxing to gate. In real life the 737-800 can fly over 6 hours but on my fsx its not even more then 3 hours.
Can I fix this I want to make this tour to the islands around the ocean. Help me please :P

All you have to do is open the aircraft.cfg file for the plane you want to fix. Scroll down until you find [generalenginedata]. There you will see
fuel_flow_scalar=. Change the number to something stupid small like .05. The smaller the number the slower your plane drinks gas.

Just 27-minutes at cruise altitude? Somehow you must have reached a cruise altitude and then started to descend.

This seems really slow for a B737, as if you're at a fairly low altitude or operating at a high OAT.

What was your cruise altitude?

In principle, I disagree with editing the fuel-flow scaler as the first potential fix. From the data that you've posted it looks like the problem
might be in your selected flight profile rather than the aircraft FDE.

Low and slow in a jet causes massive fuel burn.

I see what lefty is talking about. It almost looks like your flight is nothing more than a parabolic arc. Your flight time was 3h-33m of that you
were descending for 2h-48m. I'm scratching my head as to your flight profile, What was your climb rate, and what was the descent rate?

I was crusing on 380000 feet if i recall right, and the plane was a bit nose heavy which means nose down during whole flight that is why it
registered the whole flight as decenting, but my clim right was 1800feet and decent are around 1000 feet,

Sorry, that makes no sense.

Cruising nose down means that you're either too fast, too low or both and FsP does not care what the aircraft attitude is unless it is doing
cabin service and in FsP it is calculated based on a negative change in altitude and not by in-flight attitude. M0.74 at FL380 is pretty slow
for a B737. The flight reports from FsP9 include maximum altitude, to bad your report omits that piece of data.

If the model was so "nose heavy" to force a negative pitch, climb would probably be impossible and with the centre of gravity so far out of
whack as to force the nose into a negative flight profile, it is unlikely that the aircraft would fly at all. FS does model CG effects and balance
issues fairly well and as in real life, planes generally cruise nose up or nose down because their pilots place them in flight regimes
where the wing is forced into a pitch that is less than ideal.

Too high and or too slow, the wing pitches up, fly too fast for the current altitude and weight and the wing pitches down.

The numbers on the report indicate <FL320 not FL380 at a rate of climb of 1800 FPM so there is still something in your narrative that does
not fit the data while the cruise attitude is irrelevant to the FsP flight profile.
