Black Screen and Graphics Issue FSX

Hi all.

I've used FSPassengers with FSX on and off for several years now, but there is one problem which has been annoying me for quite a while now.

This has happened both on my old computer with Windows 7, as well as my current laptop with Windows 8. I have Nvidia GeForce GTX 670MX. All my drivers
are updated, and this is a very new computer. As far as I can see, this problem only happens when using FSPassengers. I have searched online for an
answer to my problem, and while others seem to have had this problem, I could not find a satisfying solution.

Basically, whenever I use FSPassengers, there will be times where I either get a black screen with sound, or some sort of weird graphics glitch
(basically, ghostly looking graphics, where parts of the plane may look invisible, and the scenery starts looking all strange). The game is
technically still playing, but it's virtually impossible to do anything.

Generally, this only happens after I open an FSPassengers or FSX menu. For example, halfway through the flight I may open the FSX Map, only to be
treated with a black screen once I close it. Or, if I open one too many FSPassengers screens, I'll end up closing it only to find the world around me
to look all distorted.

I've done things like going to windowed mode and back, but this doesn't solve the issue.

Can anyone help me with a solution? I'd really appreciate it!

Are you running in compatibility mode to Win XP.. Since you did a search then you certainly found out that FSP was written for Win XP and if it
does,by the grace of God, work on a newer system then feel lucky. There is a sticky on this subject on the home page.

I'm running FSX on the XP compatibility, but it still has the same issue. In fact, it's probably worse, because the fuel/loading window will sometimes
not work.

I wouldn't consider myself "lucky" that it works even on some capacity on Windows 8, because I did in fact pay $50 for the product. A good program,
but rather disappointing that there is no real solution to this.

Who did you pay $50 to for the code? This sounds wrong (not you, the amount).
