FSTramp and FSPX Compatability - with Fix.

Ok, I think I may have found the issue. FSPx is conflicting with FSTramp (FSNAV for FSX). When I load a FSPx flight it will
all run fine UNLESS I select to view the inflight report, either from the menu or mini report. At this point FSPx seems to
keep running but is not calcualting any data. It will also not allow me to click on seatbelt sign, food and drink serves,
etc. Oddly, it will allow me to click the music button.

Without FSTramp installed, it works great and love the improvments!

Any thoughts?


Windows 7 - all updates current
FSX - Gold with expansion pack (IE SP1 and 2)

Installed FSP-X as LAST addon

Other programs running: Active Sky 2012, vasFMC, SB4 for VATSIM.

Yes I have done a clean install with the same results.

I would imagine that no-one has replied here thus far is because no-one else has encountered the issue. As much as I hate to state the obvious, if
FSPX is working fine without FSTramp installed (and given that FSPX was never designed to run on a Windows 7 system) perhaps it's best to leave
FSTramp uninstalled?

Yea, I hear ya. All I use it for is getting around the airport, detailed taxi routes, and some navigation when no ATC is online.

Anyone kknow of a good freeware that does somthing simular to FSNAV that will work with windows 7/FSPx?

There were a couple available on http://www.simviation.com, but it's been a couple of years since I downloaded them and the computer that they were
downloaded onto has gone to the great computer heaven in the sky so I can't actually remember the names of them, but definitly worth checking that site.

For those of you that wish to use FSTramp (FSNAV for FSX) and FSPx use the following guidance below. I
adjusted the way addons load and
everything works great. Running FSX, FSTramp, FSPx, Active Sky 2012 and connected to VATSIM via SB4 with no issues. Special

In the folder (may be called Magnificent Exchange in windows 7)

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

is a text file dll.xml
This file describes the load of external modules.

Open this file with Notepad and control the order of the entries.
