Guess that's what happens when you buy a plane for $34,000

Bought a Beaver DHC-2 for $34,000 - thought it was too good to be true - it was. It's declared a ruin and needs $350,000 to repair, whcih I don't
have. So I'm risking my passengers' lives and flying it - on a VFR flight from Victoria to Vancouver the engine failed over the strait requiring an
emergency landing in the sea. All passengers safe and lots of bonus points. you gotta love these ruined aircraft for a challenge.

Not sure about the sirens in the middle of the ocean, or "gear" damage from the hard landing. hummm.

Lol, what do you expect from a plane that's been declared a ruin? It would have been a better idea to invest in a smaller brand new
plane, then paying 30.000.00 plus the 350.000.00 -- then you wouldn't had to have landed in the ocean

Nice landing in the ocean, that is not a bug, but a error that Dan should clean up, sirens in the ocean, if your landing gear was down i
could see it being damaged landing in currents at 80-100 knots.

I tihnk my co-pilot wants my job or has it in for me. After the ditching, I look at the rpeort to see it was MY fault that I didn't notice the oil
temperature raising and I could have prevented the engine failure. So I'm thinking: "And what is my co-pilot doing, other than watching me
fly? doesn't he have eyes too" Thanks a lot mate - so much for team work.

Sirens were in the ocean when Odysseus was sailing around but I am sure those were not the sirens you were talking about

I'm sure Dan was really thinking about the Odysseus' sirens when he allowed them to sing for the pilots sinking in the ocean...

But maybe he could add some "gloup gloup" in the background
