I set up a flight plan on FS Passengers then once I had taken off I did the usual process of selecting auto-throttle, speed hold, altitude
hold and then when I was given clearance by ATC to proceed on course I clicked GPS on the NAV/GPS switch and then clicked NAV hold.
The aircraft I was using was the standard Boeing 747 which comes with FSX.
Everything was running fine and I have previously flown successful flights using FS Passengers but suddenly I have encountered the
issue where even though my speed is set, auto throttle is on etc, the power of the engines just seems to increase quickly to full and the
aircraft eventually overstresses therefore failing the flight.
I have done exactly the same take off procedure without FS Passengers running and it worked fine (the engines did not power up and
overstress the aircraft). This issue happened with the standard 747 and 737 whilst FS Passengers was running.
The only way to stop it was to disengage auto throttle and speed hold which of course for a long haul flight will do me no good
whatsoever.
Has anybody else experienced this or can anybody help me please?
I love this add-on and do not want to stop using it
Thanks,
Matt.
