This may be a cheeky poll to many of you, but I wanted to see how many have installed FSX on the same drive as their Operating System without having a
separate, dedicated drive for FSX and/or FS9. Additionally, it may help in knowing how many people are experiencing issues with FsP/FsPX while FSX
resides on the same drive as the Operating System versus FSX residing on a dedicated drive. I hope this makes sense Smile

Please make additional comments as you see fit.

Since switching over to Win 7 in late July, I have had no issues installing and using FsPX. I use a dedicated drive for FSX.

Joe, Wanted to let those taking the poll that I went back to XP not because of any problems with FS9 / FSX / FSP / FSPX but that I didn't
like Win 7 itself. My flight simming on 7 was without problems and I had mine in C:Program Files.

Still running FSX with FSPX on an XP machine, but also running a version on a Win 7 Home Premium 64 machine too - so far had more issues with the XP
machine.

Good to know.....maybe the question should have been expanded to XP as well, but it seems more folks have had issues with Win 7 over time. Could I be
wrong?

I think the issues with Win 7 are more prevelent because there are very few solutions around, where as those for XP seem to be prettty well documented.

added a regular program files x86 on there for ya :D
I have had no issues, and just got a third monitor and things have been great flying on all three screens Smile

With that said I think I corrupted my lights file, because runway lights have a lot of glow, and are really skewed incorrectly. Looking to re
install, and might try a separate partition for FSX.

@ Crowe....one of these days I'm going to go the multiple monitor way....once I get enough space to do it Smile

Squadgirl here uses Windows Vista Home Premium 64. As its the only machine I have, I get problems with FSPX every 4 months or so with Wrong
Authorization Code lol.
The longest Ive had using muiltiple monitors was 15mins on my computer, then it freezes Cry

Hopefully next year Ill be able to get a new computer
to support muilt-monitors lol Smile

I use FSP with FSX on Win7 64-bit and all is good. I have a dedicated SSD for FSX.

How's that SSD working out for you? I thought seriously about getting one but would have spent a bundle for fairly large drive space. That's why I
went with the 600G Raptor.
